This well known, proud organisation is currently looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join their Transport Team. This role will see you supervise and lead a team of drivers and loaders to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and cost effective manner.
Reporting into the Transport Manager you will be leading a team of drivers and loading staff. This includes the coordination of efficient routing of all road haulage to ensure timely and maximum delivery and service levels. The role also has full OH&S and wellbeing responsibilities for the team and equipment. You will also be liaising with sales representatives, operations and HR teams in regards to customer needs and driver feedback.
Your experience will include a couple of years with people management and team development in a transport capacity. Based in Wetherill Park the role is Monday to Friday with flexibility across Saturday.
A few essentials;
Thorough knowledge of the Sydney CBD
Current drivers licence
Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment
HC/HR/ and or Forklift licence useful
Strong understanding of CoR, OH&S regulations including BFM legislation
Knowledge of food safety, driver fatigue and quality systems
