We are looking for an experienced bus driver to support the team at the Flying Angel Club located at Fremantle.
About your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, some of your duties will include:
- Safely driving the Flying Angel Club vehicles to and from inner and outer harbours, airport, hotels, hospitals, and other predetermined location as required.
- Completing all vehicle checklists and logs as required.
- General repairs, upkeep and clearing of bus as required.
- Promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of all seafarers.

- When not driving, willingness to assist in other ways.
- Late runs, finishing time of approx. 11:30pm.
You will also ensure you:
- Treat all seafarers, colleagues and volunteers with dignity and respect, taking into consideration any cultural, social-economic or other differences
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation, ensuring that your uniform is clean and presentable and personal hygiene is of a high standard
- Represent the Flying Angel Club in a professional manner always
- You have knowledge of Fremantle, surrounding area, also airports.
What you will come with:
- Ability to obtain First Aid
- Ability to obtain working with child check
- Full licence, a 20 seater bus.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- General computer skills regarded highly.
- Happy and Friendly personality.

The Mission to Seafarers is an international organisation based on Christian principles of acceptance, caring, justice and compassion and Fremantle Flying Angel Club offers transport and hospitality to seafarers on shore leave. The services offered to seafarers are more than just transport, and can involve check-ins at airport, medical and dental appointments, shopping trips and assisting them to access Information Technology particularly on their mobile phones.
