Charterhouse Melbourne are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our client's organisation. This company is an industry leader in their sector and are based in the CBD with modern offices and a great working environment.
This is a busy and varied role which is focused on vendor negotiation, contact management. supplier audits and tender writing, as well as providing insightful commercial advice to internal stakeholders.
Candidates with an technical experience within automotive will be highly regarded. This is a contract position in the first instance, but does an the option for longer term work.
Duties will include:
- Management of the tender process, including documentation and tender evaluation
- Preparation of RFT documents
- Preparation of reports on commercial and pricing proposals
- Manage the negotiation process with suppliers and the subsequent award of tenders
- Engage with stakeholders across the organisation
- Forecasting
- Contracts administration
Experience required:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or proven commercial experience
- End-to-end procurement knowledge and experience
- Excellent rapport building skills and confidence in dealing with stakeholders
- Experience within contracts management
- Commercial negotiations experience
- Excellent organisational skills
