Who we are

Retail Transport Group Pty Ltd has been in business for four years. We started out with a single truck and have been expanding our fleet ever since. Our current employees love the jobs they are in as well as the conditions and don't wish to work anywhere else. 

The role

This role is as easy as it gets when it comes to driving roles. You will be employed to drive the truck from our customers DC to their stores. All that's generally required to do this, is a good friendly can do attitude, the ability to place and remove the load restraints as well as the side curtains. 

There is generally no manual labour, but occasionally there maybe assistance required.

You do need to be flexible to move between contracts within the company due to load planning as required, As well as have the ability to do long days in the truck.

What you need

• A Friendly can do attitude.
• Minimum of a Heavy Rigid Licence (Victorian).
• Preferably more then 2 years driving history. 
• A manual licence is required, along with a log book incase of a regional deliveries.
• The ability to secure loads with load restraints as this is a curtain side truck.
• Police check (or willing to obtain)
• Know how to avoid preventable accidents and adjust to unforeseen circumstances while trying to adhere to the company schedule.

Prior to employment commencement the following checks will need to be completed:

• Police check
• Vic Roads check
• Drug and alcohol screen (in some cases)
