The Company
Our client is a proud, local privately owned business who specialise in the provision of solutions for fluid systems, high pressure eqipment and related components.
They are also able to offer bespoke design and manufacturing services of specialised equipment to a broad and diverse client base, and are able to offer a global reach.
Their general hydraulics client portfolio sits largely in the oil and gas sector whilst R&D is a also a key industry for them.
The Role
Due to current company growth and a solid pipeline of work, which will further diversify the business, our client has created a new position for an experienced Service Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director.
The role will largely be office based, however there will be the occasional need to travel to site.
The Requirement
As the key purpose of this position is to manage the service department it is essential that you have strong people management skills and are able to manage conflicting priorities. Time management and solid organisational skills are a must.
Experience in a similar role is essential as is experience and knowledge gained from working with hydraulic equipment and tools.
