Our client is a large and successful Food Manufacturing company, based in Broadmeadows. They are currently seeking experienced process workers, machine operators and forklift drivers to join their busy production team. This is a full time permanent position. 

ABOUT THE ROLES

• Work with large and successful food manufacturers
• Contribute to the production of quality baked goods
• Broadmeadows location
• Shifts start on an on-call basis, with the opportunity for ongoing work for the right candidates
• All shifts available, including weekends
• Steel capped boots required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Process work & Forklift Driver duties include:

• Operating machines
• Labelling products
• Packing products
• Unpacking and de-boxing
• Carrying out quality assurance of food products
• Forklift Driving
• Following OH&S and Food-Hygiene standards

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• MUST Proven experience as a food production worker 
• MUST Have a great attitude towards work
• Machine operating experience is preferred but not essential 
• Proven forklift Driving experience (for Forklift Driver position only)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and commitment to work 5-6 days a week
• Proven reliability and attendance record
• Flexibility to work day, afternoon, and/or night shifts

• Must have working rights to working 5-6 days a week.

* Food Handling Certificate (or equivalent) is an advantage! *
