Located in Scoresby and reporting to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for a range of inventory and administrative functions, providing support for operational functions of the warehouse. 

You will also be provided development opportunities to fill in for warehouse leadership roles and may be asked to work on afternoon shift or night shift at times.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the management of safety and environment requirements
  • Inventory management, cycle counting, investigating stock discrepancies and assisting with stocktakes
  • Ensuring the returns process is managed effectively
  • Goods receipting and resolving goods receipt discrepancies
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Managing proof of delivery documentation
  • Raising purchase orders

To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in the residential segment and a degree in a relevant area.  Your skills and attributes will include:

  • Self-directed
  • Good communication skills
  • MS Excel competency
  • Sound inventory skills
  • Forklift licence and strong forklift and manual handling skills
  • SAP experience highly desirable

You will be a motivated individual who has a strong safety mindset, can remain calm under pressure, be innovative with your trouble shooting ability, think logically and have a strong customer focus. In addition, you will have strong, analytical, verbal and written communication skills and enjoy making a difference!
