Casual CNC Laser Operator - North Plympton
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed individual to join our production team in North Plympton a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia.
We are one of Australia's most successful laser processing specialists with an enviable reputation for innovation and customer satisfaction. We provide high precision cutting and fabrication solutions for a diverse range of materials, including different grades of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
You will be responsible for operating a CNC Laser cutting machine, ensuring component quality, materials handling, operating a Fork Lift, cleaning of tools, work area and various ad hoc tasks as directed by Production Manager.
An industry background in engineering, fabrication or laser, plasma cutting would give you good grounding to be successful for this job.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Previous experience as Laser or Plasma operator, desirable.
- Hold a current Australian Forklift licence, essential.
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Well-developed computer skills.
- Be available to work in a shift environment.
- Excellent communication skills required (verbal and written)
- Be reliable, honest and hardworking.
- Work well with others in a team.
- Training in the operation of machinery will be provided.
Successful candidates will be asked to provide referee details and undergo a pre-employment Medical and drug & alcohol test.
Must have Australian work rights
