STARWARD is looking for a new staff member to join our production team. Our small but growing team is passionate about what they do and take pride in the innovative approach we take to all aspects of our business. We have embarked on a rapid growth trajectory, which will see a significant increase in our production capacity, and our sales throughout Australia and into international markets.
Night shift Distiller - Contract position
Night shift distiller position based at Port Melbourne site, covering fermentation, distillation, maturation and warehousing operations.
Qualifications and experience
Mandatory
• Forklift license
• Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
Desirable
• Distilling experience
• Production experience in beverage or food manufacturing
• General Certificate in Distilling (IBD)
• Familiar with safe work practices
• Familiar with quality management and food safety
Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa. We recognise that people who have achieved The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award can demonstrate initiative and skills such as teamwork and communication.
