We are seeking to retain the services of an organised individual to assume the role of State Production Manager. Principally the role is to manage all aspects of our service and installation departments, coordinating work orders between the company and the clients ensuring that the tradesman's workmanship meets the highest company standards.
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for ensuring installation budgets are achieved and managing all aspects of our Production department. Duties include (but not limited to):
- Management and oversight of three staff directly reporting to you and 20+ indirect reports (sub-contractors)
- Contract administration after point of sale through to completion
- Maintaining adequate trade resources to ensure contracts are completed on time and within the guidelines set by the company
- Ensuring all work is carried out to the high standards required including post installation follow up of orders to ensure the work has been completed and full customer satisfaction.
- Stock and Inventory control
- Production and analysis of required reporting
You will be required to unload and organise product in the warehouse as part of this position so the successful applicant must have the ability to operate in a physically demanding environment in a safe manner.
The successful applicant will require:
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- The ability to work productively under pressure
- Sound Problem Solving and decision making skills
- Professional presentation and demeanour
- Previous experience in a similar role or one with a transferrable skill set.
This is a pivotal role within our organisation and the successful applicant must have the ability to communicate at all levels.
