Is located in Frenchs Forest in Northern Sydney, you will be working for a globally recognised brand.
Your new role
As the Demand Planner you will work closely with the Manager of Supply Chain & Distribution providing analytical support to ensure accuracy in all forecasting, planning and purchasing activities. Responsible for all forecasting activities, creates and maintains forecast models. Provides accurate and timely reporting ensuring optimal inventory levels are held across our Asia Pacific distribution network. Pro-active in identifying problems and offering solutions to overcome any issues that may arise and affect the supply of products.
- The minimum duties for this role will be to analyse data and to create forecasts
- Prepare forecast data, analyze forecast results and utilize forecast data to adequately plan supply of inventory across multiple sites to optimum levels
- Develop and manage forecast models and tools to provide forecast by a range of variables, value, product mix, geographical location
- Monitor actual sales performance vs. forecast vs. budget
- Analyze and recommend forecast changes based on historical data or upcoming projects
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct inventory reconciliation of multiple sites
- Managing, monitoring and tracking stock levels and recording stock movement
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum criteria is Strong computer skills. Advanced Excel is essential. Experience with Crystal Reports is desirable.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred
- Experience in a warehouse/distribution/logistics environment and been involved in stock takes and cycle counts is desirable
- Strong analytical abilities and high attention to detail

Ideally we are looking to recruit a Demand Planner, however, our client will also look at Supply Chain, Demand or Logistics Analyst’s. The role is paying $40-$50ph (depending on experience) and requires an immediate start.
