About the role:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, your role is to inspect the products as it is produced throughout the manufacturing process and ensure that the cards meet the customer, ISO and scheme requirements. You will be required to run as per schedule to meet required productivity targets. Quality verification is required to ensure accuracy of graphics, quantity, construction and colour against ISO/CQM specifications. You will also maintain all lab equipment, reporting on any needs for repair and/or maintenance. It's essential you adhere to safety practices when operating machinery and have previous experience and knowledge with machinery. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use QC lab equipment as per documented procedures
  • Ensure all quality control results are documented in the correct manner and stored/saved as required.
  • Understand quality standards and be able to measure and validate results.
  • Understand issue escalation processes and timing.
  • Maintain daily production logs and data collection. 
  • Setup, program and release jobs from schedule queue. 
  • Obtain sign off for processes.
  • Able to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service or product.
  • Perform daily maintenance, on schedule, according to procedures to promote machine stability and dependability.
  • Minimizing unexpected downtime and service calls.
  • Liaise with Calibration companies and retain records for audits.
  • Partake in training and cross training activities.

Requirements:

  • You will be required to undergo a police and credit check through HOBAN Recruitment. Unfortunately if you have your own police check, this will not suffice and one will still need to be completed through HOBAN.
