About the role
Based in Fremantle and reporting to the Terminal Manager, the CargoLink Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient running of the CargoLink Business. The role will ensure customer service and margin improvement opportunity is effectively identified through the value chain from 'supplier engagement' through to 'customer invoicing'. The role will be accountable for delivering measureable success through business analysis, improvement opportunity identification, competency improvement, process improvement, problem solving, solutions support, project management Customer focus and service delivery.
The role will manage the CargoLink business delivery and revenue growth from planning through to execution. This will be directly measured via linked 'bottom line' improvement.
The role will interface with all aspects of the Patrick Fremantle Terminal in the capacity of Cargolink service delivery/integration/improvement, assessment and solutions provision.
Key performance responsibilities include:
- Review, and present integrated solutions for effective assets and infrastructure including: records for leases and rentals
- Supporting the Operations Manager through daily vessel scheduling and as required
- Support revenue generation by assisting delivery of a minimum of 3 new business opportunities per annum through solution generation
- Facilitate the CargoLink CI program
- Contribute to the Terminal CI Program
- Contribute to overall Terminal improvement acitvity
- Review and improve business and customer KPI's
- Identify, scope, and deliver tangible cost saving opportunities within the Fremantle Terminal
- Work directly with the Terminal Manager and other functions in business growth opportunity: new service exploration / delivery
- CargoLink training and coaching competency requirements
- Partner with the Terminal lead team to identify and support integration opportunities
- Manage capacity delivery
