If so, HORNER Recruitment currently have 4 exciting new opportunities to join our client based in Heidelberg West, due to continued expansion and growth within the company. The company manufactures rock drills and drifters for the mining industry. These opportunities are for the newly created afternoon shift: 4pm-midnight however you will need to complete training on the day shift.
To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience with Okuma or Fanuc Milling CNC machines
• Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Be capable of safely preparing, loading and unloading materials
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• Be able to use FANUC G-programming
• Experience completing preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Understanding of HAAS
• CAD or CAM Programming
• Experience using pallet jacks

Prerequisites for the role are:

• Minimum of 2 references
• Current Drivers Licence
• Able to complete a pre-employment medical examination
• Pass random drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to clear a Police check
