At Bullivants we are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Operations Planner Analyst to analyse and interpret data and provide data driven recommendations and improvements to the leadership team to the execute the Bullivants operations strategic plan within our close-knit Carrington Team.

Reporting to Operations Support Manager you will lead and deliver stock availability, the manufacturing process, production schedules, standard lead times and inventory location data, which will include:

• Aligning stocking profile to deliver service level targets
• Releasing Manufacturing Orders based on stock availability and recommendations from MRP and liaise with operations supervisor to plan demand scheduling
• Coordinating priorities & all actions in relation to the hub warehouse open order book to achieve DIFOT/OIFOT targets
• Reviewing inventory profiles to identify slow moving and obsolete stocks (SLOBs) and agree action plan for managing/reducing SLOBs and write-offs
• Establishing and maintaining standard lead time for all products and liaise with sales to manage exceptions and evolve stocking level policy for manufactured items
• Understanding, adhering to and working towards meeting HSE Responsibilities

As the successful applicant you have demonstrated experience in manufacturing production and warehouse scheduling, or sales & operations planning. You will possess strong analytical and mathematical abilities coupled with advance MS excel skills. You will have extensive knowledge of demand planning process within a manufacturing or distribution environment and experience using statistical forecasting software and managing product life cycles. Having tertiary qualifications in supply chain management / demand planning or equivalent as well as previous experience or knowledge of the Lifting, Rigging &/or Safety supply business will be an advantage.
