Despatch Clerk
We require a Despatch Clerk to work within a fast paced, high activity despatch area. The candidate we seek will have a proactive and flexible approach with the ability to solve practical problems on a daily basis. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will have the ability to work under pressure to overcome certain hurdles, together with the ability to work through outcomes to achieve a satisfactory result for both the customer and Visy.
Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
- Answering all incoming inquires
- Liaise with truck drivers, vendors, customers and internal departments
- Invoicing and receipt of proof of deliveries
- Day to day management of pallet control
- Process high volume paperwork transactions
- Purchase order reconciliation
- Check and verify for data integrity
- Monthly stock take entry
- Monitor and complete Non Conformance Reports (NCR) related work on a daily basis
- Operate at all times in accordance with Visy policies
Skills and experience:
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs quickly
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work
Hours required are Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
