We are seeking a Customs Broker to join our Head Office - Sydney team.
THE ROLE
Reporting to our National Customs Manager your responsibilities will include;
Checking and lodging Formal Import Declarations (N10, N20, N30)
Achieving of the set KPIs required for each client
Liaising with Australian Border Force and Department of Agriculture and Water Resources
Managing key stakeholder relationships
Solving complex classification and valuation challenges
Mentoring compilers and classifiers
Monitoring industry changes and developments
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and core competencies;
Customs Brokers Licence (Current CPD & CBC required)
DAWR accredited (NCCC & AEPCOMM)
Experience with CargoWise One (preferred)
Export declaration experience (preferred)
Excellent customer service skills
Strong Excel reporting and functionalities experience
Strong tariff classification experience/knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding attention to detail
High energy and drive
Highly organised
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
MS skills essential
