Job Opportunity

We’re seeking self-motivated and confident staff to join our Austral Masonry QLD Plant in Cairns. Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for contributing to the running of the Cairns Masonry manufacturing facility producing concrete products.

You will have an exceptional attitude, a thirst to learn new skills and a willingness to work hard in a team environment.

Factory Machine Operators - responsible for operating machine safely to specified manufacturing levels to achieve maximum production numbers/levels/units.

Leading Hands - responsible for ensuring the shift operates safely and manufacturing high quality product at the lowest cost

Maintenance Staff - responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance as well as installation work.

Success Requirements
• Experience in manufacturing environment highly regarded.
• Fitter, Mechanical or electrical Trade qualifications highly regarded
• Experience in operating manufacturing machines.
• Valid LF forklift licence highly regarded.
• Front end loader ticket highly regarded.
• Australian Drivers Licence.
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• High regard for workplace health and safety.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
