Your new company
This is an exciting temporary opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a leading multinational organisation focused in the Defence industry located in Melbourne. This company offers their services to varied sectors within defence promoting a challenging and exciting work environment.
Your new role
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance to company policies, processes and providing regular status reports of the quality management system. This position is systems and engineering focused, which will include acquisition, design, development, integration, and test phases of the project. Initially you will be responsible for high level planning and creating a baseline of requirements to meet a milestone review which will take place in a couple of months. Your support to the QA Managers on this new program will be critical to its success.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have experience in a defence environment in the role of Quality Assurance. This would include knowledge and experience with ISO requirements, and the ability to develop, document and implement a QA strategy. You will exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills while working well within a team environment. Audit qualifications will be highly regarded. This position will require being eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
