Purchasing Manager - Automotive Aftermarket

Located on the South side of Brisbane, our client is a long established organisation, achieving high level of success during their rich history in the supply of automotive aftermarket parts.

Due to business growth, they are seeking to appoint a highly experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee purchasing and sourcing functions within the business.  

Leading a small team, this role will take accountability for a diverse range of functions across international and local purchasing, supplier management and negotiation, new product management and reporting.

We are looking to secure a candidate with demonstrated experience in a purchasing management role, ideally with experience in the automotive parts sector.  You will bring with you a strong business acumen, sound leadership capabilities and a knowledge of international purchasing, freight management and tariff codes.

Your strong PC literacy and high levels of attention to details are critical to this role.  Intermediate Excel skills and experience in Momentum Pro or a similar internal database/CRM system (ie SAP etc) is required.

An attractive salary package based on experience will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
