Reporting to the Director of Operations we are looking for someone who will be dynamic, resilient and is hands on with their team.

Verser is Australia's recognised premier provider of IT asset handling and remarketing services. We are an independent entity capable of delivering IT services globally working with large and small corporations, Government, Education and equipment vendors to deliver services through the IT asset lifecycle across Australia / New Zealand. From configuration to end of life or refresh and asset purchase, we coordinate all services throughout the asset life cycles, with emphasis on a smooth transition, businesses to focus on their priorities.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our fast growing Brisbane branch.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Services are performed in the most cost effective manner.
  • Resourcing and Timesheet maintenance for the QLD region
  • Develop and maintain systems required to track project deliverables.
  • Consistent delivery against KPI objectives. Motivating team members to deliver these outcomes.
  • Conform to Business Management Systems, Workplace Health & Safety, and Environmental Management Systems policies and procedural requirements.
  • Rostering, effective labour management for the site. Workflow planning to ensure enough human resources are available at the right time to get tasks performed efficiently and to best suit the business and customers.
  • Prepare and manage career development plans for all team members.
  • Customer-focussed leadership of the Brisbane warehouse and all its vital operations.
  • Ensuring the effective and efficient movement of all inwards goods to their appropriate location from containers.
  • Manage all warehouse logistics processes and procedures
  • Be comfortable in using a computer 
  • Manage all products in line with customer expectations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting is provided as per customer requirements.
  • Drive a strong safety culture throughout the site and drive strategic safety initiatives.
  • Actively train, develop and manage employees to perform their roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage daily labour against requirements and projects.
  • Investigate and resolve operational, people and process issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • To ensure that processes are maintained for the timely, accurate and secure dispatch of all customer orders. This is also inclusive of the distribution of all stock transfers.
  • Ensuring excellent and timely communication between operational staff and the sales team on all issues pertaining to customer orders and stock.
  • Improving the relationships and interactions between all areas of the business to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Improving the functioning, appearance and operation of the warehouse which includes maintaining a tidy workspace at all times.
  • Prepare and complete stock takes annually.

To succeed in this role you will need

  • Demonstrated team leadership skills.
  • Communicates effectively; relationship building skills and a strong desire to build interpersonal links.
  • Have Forklift HR Licence.
  • LR/MR - Van/truck licence will be preferred
  • Confirmed understanding of HSE principles.
  • Excellent technical skills with regards to PC hardware and related equipment.
  • A hands on approach to team management, lead by example.
  • Genuinely Cares about providing exceptional customer service to our clients and  bout their team they manage.
  • Professionalism in attitude, actions and appearance.
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise however ensuring care and accuracy in getting the job done right.
  • Initiative and ability to plan and organise yourself.
  • An ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Qualifications in IT are highly desirable.
  • Full Working Rights  required as this is a full time position.
