About the role
Reporting to the Sawmill Production Manager, the Drymill Supervisor is responsible for driving and training teams to ensure the flow of materials to maximise production, whilst ensuring quality and safety standards are met for the Drymill, kiln and moulding line.
The position is a full time rotating shift position operating on 4 x 10 hours shifts Monday to Thursday. The position is a salaried position that includes shift loading.
Skills and experience
Desired Skills/ Experience
- Supervisory/Leadership experience
- Experience with green sawing, timber grading, moulder and stress grading
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- High level communication skills
- Understanding of Safe Work Practices / OH&S legislation
- Car licence & reliable transport
- Strong problem solving skills
- Well organised
- Numeracy skills and computer knowledge
