The Position

An opportunity is now available for a suitably experienced Factory Hand to join the team on a full-time basis.  As a member of the Con-Serv team, you will play an integral part in delivering quality products to our customers.

 

Your key responsibilities will be

  • Product Assembly of a wide array of products, this requires the use of hand tools and power tools
  • Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and in a timely manner whilst maintaining product integrity
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Conducting quality checks on goods received and finished products
  • Warehouse safety, cleaning, organisation and efficiency
  • Manual handling, this is a physically demanding role, so requires someone who can regularly, comfortably lift up to 20 kilograms

  • You will also complete other tasks from time to time to meet the operational needs of the business

About You


As the successful applicant for the role, you will have

  • Previous experience working in a warehousing environment - although the ideal candidate will have at least 12 months previous experience in a similar role, we are looking for someone with a willingness to learn and a flexible, professional, and positive “Can Do” attitude towards work
  • Experience adhering to QA/QC programs and procedures
  • A level of physical fitness - this role includes some heavy lifting, repetitive movement, and standing on your feet all day 
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well individually and within a team
  • A keen, neat and tidy appearance and high housekeeping standards for your work environment
  • Whilst not mandatory, a forklift license is also desirable
