JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Logistics Officer, you will be an integral member of our Workshop Team based in Brendale.
This is a hands-on role primarily responsible for the manufacture and on time completion of MineWare products for projects and service & support. Working as part of a team on a production floor and utilizing tooling and information technology to assemble and configure industrial control panels to the highest standards.
This position will suit an individual with exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills as the role will involve a number of important working relationships with the software development, field support, project managers, engineers and administration teams.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Manufacture and fabrication of components, including cutting, drilling and assembly
• Working from an electrical schematic, assembly and wiring of control panels and junction enclosures
• Enable and promote all MineWare safety policies
. • Responsible for completing paperwork and forms relating to factory acceptance testing.
• Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications.
• Assist with management of inventory for parts, tools and consumables.
• Maintaining all required systems, processes, and documentation to support the aforementioned activities.
• Any other tasks deemed to be within context of this role.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
• Manufacture of all MineWare products ensuring accuracy with a high attention to detail throughout the production process.
• Ensuring quality assurance and compliance of all MineWare products through factory acceptance testing procedures.
• Setup and configuration of all MineWare products utilizing IT.
• Preparation and packing of installation hardware for hand-over to project manager
IDEAL PRACTICAL/SPECIALIST SKILLS
Previous experience in manufacturing or production
• Mechanically and electrically minded
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Sound computer skills and familiarity with windows operating systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
