The Role
As a Manager you will regularly be the prime point of contact for our clients, applying your problem solving skills, stakeholder management skills, analytical skills as well as experience to maximise the competitive advantage our clients derive from their supply base. The role will involve planning and leading client projects and works-streams as well as manage your team, while leveraging the experience of Infosys Portland’s subject matter experts and senior leadership.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement and supply chain organisational and value delivery strategies to solve a variety of business problems. You will work across a range of clients, projects, and industries utilising your procurement or supply chain knowledge as well as your stakeholder management and problem solving skills to meet our client’s needs.
Education
- Degree Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Economics, Commerce, Law or Science
- MBA from a leading business school would be advantageous
Experience & Competence necessary
- At least 4-5 years’ consulting experience with solid experience in procurement, supply chain, cost out or transformation projects
- Significant experience within or assisting blue-chip organisations
- Proven experience managing own projects and small project teams
- Strong analytical skills and experience of data visualisation
- Solid functional knowledge in the areas of strategic sourcing, category management procurement transformation, SRM and supply chain
- Exposure to best practice procurement technology and digital procurement capabilities
- Excellent team skills with the ability to lead and/or take direction
- Demonstrated people management skills, including coaching of both junior employees and client staff
- Good facilitator and ability to develop a storyline for clients
