Your new company
A large organisation situated in Townsville is seeking a Program Manager to oversee and assist in the delivery of a program under a government grant. This is an opportunity to utilise project management and stakeholder engagement skills to articulate the program’s strategy and objectives and assesses how it will impact a business.
Note: The word program relates to multiple smaller project deliverables and does not relate to IT.
Your new role
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee external service providers and contractors
- Identify suppliers and contractors for procurement purposes
- Provide reports on project completion against deliverables
- Ensure organisational standards are being adhered to
- Ensure compliance within the grant guidelines
- General contract administration
What you will need to succeed
- Experience managing the delivery of a program up to $10M
- Ability to build relationships
- Previous experience with procurement and general contracts administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exposure delivering programs under strict guide lines i.e. government grants
