Our client is an exciting and innovative Australian fin-tech who have recently launched a high profile, cutting edge, consumer product to the market. Backed by three of Australia's big four banks they boast the stability and security of a corporate whilst enjoying the excitement, variety and challenges of a fast growing fin tech. With a fun and vibrant work environment they are looking to recruit an experienced SQL Data Analytics & Insights Analyst to join the team and enable the business to achieve its targets leveraging a data driven approach. 

As an SQL Data Analytics & Insights Analyst the core responsibilities of your role will cover, but will not be limited to:  

• Working with your colleagues across the team to understand data driven projects requirements and discuss how an analytics and insights led strategy can help optimise performance.
• Leveraging strong SQL data management skills to extract, manipulate and merge large volumes customer data for analysis.
• Delivering analytics and insights projects across applications that may include; Customer Insights, Marketing Strategy, Campaign Analytics, Business Insights, Strategic Roadmaps, Incentive plans etc.
• Present key insights and recommendations of your investigations back to back to the team in dashboard formats (i.e. Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI, etc) 
• Working with engineers and architects to support the ongoing development of the data and analytics technical infrastructure.    

The successful applicant will come with strong experience working in a complex consumer data driven environment, where extracting insights from complex SQL data sets has been a key focus. You will be able to demonstrate:  

• Strong internal relationship building skills with the ability to quickly grasp strategic concepts and discuss how data can be used to model outcomes.  
• Strong technical skills and experience using SQL, SAS or R to extract, manipulate and merge large volumes of customer behaviour or transactional data (e.g. SQL Teradata, Oracle SQL, SQL Server, MYSQL, SAS Base or R)
• Experience leveraging large volumes of SQL data to provide insights around customer, marketing, business, commercial, risk and fraud applications.
• Experience working with Data Visualisation tools (Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI, Graphana, etc.)
