The role                                                             

GHD’s Property and Buildings team is expanding. We have an exciting opportunity for a committed ESD/Sustainability Consultant to join our conveniently located Melbourne CBD based group.

Our Sustainability team provides comprehensive design services to enable a sustainable lifecycle across:

• Site condition analysis
• Renewable Energy generation
• Low impact energy and carbon considerations
• Energy audits
• Site orientation studies
• Passive design
• Advanced building performance – building and structures
• Building physics modelling

In this role you will directly report to the Sustainability Lead and indirectly to the Building Services Manager. You will have daily contact with the Sustainability Lead who will provide guidance, mentoring, upskilling and development. In addition, you will have regular contact with the Building Services manager to monitor your development and challenge your goals to achieve ongoing clarity in your preferred career development.

As part of the Property and Buildings group you will be exposed to multiple areas of our business, both Regional and National, developing a strong technical foundation in your discipline. Working with some of the leading professionals in the industry, you will have the opportunity to work on projects focused on providing pro-active integrated sustainable solutions to our clients.

Could this be you?

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in the field of sustainability
• A commensurate knowledge of building codes, standards and sustainability guidelines
• A desire to develop your career, share knowledge and strive for efficiency
