An opportunity currently exists for a motivated and results-driven individual to join the Integrated Planning Team as a Business Analyst - Service Review. This opportunity is offered as a 12 month Temporary Full Time contract.
The Role
Working as a key member of the Integrated Planning Team, the primary role of this position is to support the organisation to drive continuous improvement of service standards and efficiencies across the organisation.
Your duties in this role will include:
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to understand existing services and service levels
- Benchmarking to measure current services levels and associated costs / benefits
- Analysing existing service provision and recommending improvements
- Modelling options for future service provision and service level scenarios as well as providing recommendations to the organisation
- Liaising with management, staff and stakeholders to develop and implement the integrated planning framework and other key corporate documents
- Developing fit for purpose service delivery to suit Stakeholder and Community needs
- Actioning and attending to other matters and projects as directed by the Team Leader Integrated Planning and the Manager City Plan.
- Evaluate and apply costing to Local Government services
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Economics, Business, or Finance
- Experience in project management, service planning and review or roles in a similar capacity
- Experience in service level review or business analysis
- Experience in strategic planning and issue analysis in public or private sector
- Strong evaluation, analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in communicating verbally and in writing to a range of audiences across a range of mediums
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency with software used to analyse business processes.
- A practical knowledge of workflow and business process reengineering
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience to identify and research complex issues and propose solutions at a local level
- Current Class C Drivers licence
- Experience in the development of the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework.
