This ASX listed organisation is expanding both organically and by acquisition.  They are undergoing a major Finance Transformation.
 
The Head of Process Improvement is responsible for leading the ideation, development, prioritisation and implementation of core Finance initiatives across People, Process and Technology dimensions.

In this role, the Head of Process Improvement will champion Finance vision and strategy and ensure effective delivery of various initiatives under the Finance Transformation Program
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Own the development of various Finance process and system opportunities and ensure effective communication of outcomes
  • Initiate root cause analysis on various Finance process and service issues in partnership with relevant process owners, teams and stakeholders as well as present analysis recommendations to the management team.
  • Collate stakeholder feedback from process reviews and proactively manage process risk and issues feedback from key process owners and stakeholders.
  • Prepare standard initiative reports for the Finance Transformation team and monitor performance and delivery of ongoing initiatives
  • Execute post implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement for various Finance initiatives and projects under the Transformation program.
  • Instil a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the business
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance Transformation Project teams as well as a wide range of business stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience:
  • Knowledge and understanding of large scale Transformation Programs and Continuous Improvement methodologies with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required.
  • Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile etc required.
  • A proven track record in developing and implementing Finance improvement initiatives across various processes and systems.
  • Exceptional leadership with extensive experience managing a team of business analysts
