About the business and the role

Are you seeking a role where you can use your analysis, consulting and people skills to make a difference? We want to hear from you. We're looking for a Relationship Manager to join our team.

About Us

The Australian Network on Disability (AND) is a national, for-purpose, member organisation that brings employers together to shape an Australia where people with disability are valued and organisations benefit from diverse workforces and customers.

We provide expert advice, and professional services on disability to employers, government, and industry bodies. We build their expertise, develop their confidence, connect them with others, and support them to check their progress against their access and inclusion goals.

We have an affirmative action employment strategy for people with disability and make adjustments to accommodate individuals in the recruitment, selection and employment process.

About the role

Here at AND, we have a small team of passionate, hard-working Relationship Managers (RM) contributing to changing and improving the disability confidence of organisations in Australia. Our Relationship Managers consult with our member organisations across Australia to partner and guide them to attract and retain talented and skilled employees with disability and to tap into their entire customer base – including people with disability. At the Network, we consult across the whole of business to ensure the equitable inclusion of people with disability.

The role of an RM is a unique one – there is no other role like it in Australia. We are a world-leading member organisation seeking committed, creative and innovative professionals with experience building and managing relationships to creatively consult with our members. The role requires the successful applicant to manage a number of members and guide and influence them to create change and have impact on the inclusion of people with disability.

This role requires a consultative approach, an ability to learn and craft a bespoke solution for our members. Analysis skills are key to this role; analysing what our members do or need and providing accurate, relevant, global best practice recommendations. This role is extremely varied – no one day will be the same. You will, over time, have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of projects, create learning content and solutions, deliver our training, manage quarterly events and really play to your strengths – or develop new strengths.
