The Company


This high performing National Insurer with a long history of success is currently seeking a Data Analyst with an Insurance background for a key role within their Contracts & Performance team.

The Opportunity

The primary responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Providing quantitative support and detailed analysis on portfolio trends and providing details reports to management to assist in strategic decision making.
  • Working with Regulators on remuneration metrics and contracts
  • Making recommendations around the current processes for data collation
  • Ad hoc analysis of claims and operational databases
  • Identifying and reporting financial risks to the Management team

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience in a similar Data Analysis/Quantitative or Actuarial role within the Insurance industry (Workers Compensation preferable but all Insurance backgrounds will be considered)
  • Strong experience in the use of SAS and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent Communicational skills
