About the Role:

This position presents a unique opportunity for a customer focused individual to join the Bank of Queensland (BOQ) and oversee Customer Strategy across the BOQ Group.

The Senior Manager, Customer Strategy is a key member of the Extended Retail Leadership Team, delivering customer research and customer segmentation strategy across the organisation. This will include the ongoing development of the Customer Value Proposition for Retail/Consumer markets ensuring a customer driven approach is embedded across all activities for the group.

Additional functions will include:

  • The direction of customer research and insight activities to ensure BOQ are developing products and services that drive customer value
  • Developing methodologies and consistent approaches to the segmentation of the market and value proposition design
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Distributions and Innovation teams to develop implementation plans to deliver business results
  • Develop the Customer Value Proposition (CVP) for target consumer segments
  • Provide input to Group-wide activities to ensure the CVP is delivered


About You:

We are seeking an individual with a demonstrated background in customer strategy design and execution with a strong understanding of human centred design. Additional skills in marketing, research and product development may also align. Experience in financial services would be advantageous however is not essential.
