Our client is a premier independent consultancy operating exclusively in the area of regulatory and risk compliance for the financial services industry.

Reporting to a Senior Principal, you will be tasked with reviewing technical publications and compliance frameworks to formulate client focused advice with respect to operational impacts and recommendations.

Typical tasks will include, but not be limited to:

Extensive research into regulatory changes and developments with respect to the prudential regulatory environment;
Work collaboratively to advise clients on operational and regulatory risk, crisis management, compliance frameworks and processes;
Review and analysis of operations and business practices at financial services clients;
Review and analyze internal controls for effectiveness and operational efficiency to ensure maintenance and adoption of best practice;
Gather, review and analyse technically complex information;
Meet with clients to workshop and understand their challenges and pain points;
Undertake independent research and assist in the development of relevant recommendations and strategies;
Develop proposals, reports and other consulting deliverables;
Work collaboratively to facilitate an inclusive and positive working environment;

You will have prior experience of working in either consulting-based role or in the financial services industry and will have extensive experience in reviewing and writing technically complex works.

Ideally, your background will be from a complex regulatory environment. This may be from a consulting-based field, industry, or a regulatory body. Any knowledge or experience in dealing with regulatory bodies, institutional banking or internal auditing will be highly regarded.
