The Opportunities
These newly created leadership roles have been developed to ensure a more strategic response to meet evolving business needs as a result of the transitioning energy market. With evolving technologies, growing complexity of the power system, new regulatory obligations and an increasingly competitive marketplace, the Customer Connection Planning Manager, Power System Planning Manager, Power System Capability Manager will work collaboratively to lead the transition from the existing team structure to the new operating structure.
The Roles
The roles will be responsible for developing the strategic direction, leadership and business process improvement to ensure effective teamwork collaboration, communication, information flow, consistency of advice and resource management across the teams and other stakeholders.
There are 3 positions:
- Customer Connection Planning Manager
- Power System Planning Manager
- Power System Capability Manager
To be successful, you will have:
- A passion for people leadership, influencing and stakeholder management capability within multifaceted project/engineering environment;
- Shown experience in effectively leading and engaging a team to achieve organisation outcomes;
- Capability to contribute to and lead the operationalisation of business strategy;
- Demonstrated ability in leading power system analysis to ensure system security and support power system planning;
- A sound understanding of the planning environment within the National Electricity Market.
About You
We are looking for someone who is tertiary qualified in a related field such as Business or Engineering coupled with a leadership qualification or equivalent skills & knowledge developed through experience. You will have significant experience in a similar role providing strategic leadership within a multifaceted, corporate environment.
