We currently have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a People & Performance / Zero Harm Data Analyst to join our Mining, Energy & Industrial (MEI) community.

To be successful in the role we need a People & Performance / Zero Harm Data Analyst with proven and demonstrable experience in reporting, analysing and organising people and performance data, identifying gaps, developing and implementing solutions within the work scope of people and performance.

Reporting to the Zero Harm Manager – Performance and Programs, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing effective dashboards, scorecards and info graphs on an adhoc, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Work with P&P / Zero Harm teams to identify gaps in current data to design and develop effective and timely solutions to close identified gaps.
  • Analysing data to identify trends and develop insights to support improvement initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing support on P&P / Zero Harm function in terms of BI systems, processes and programs.

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • Experience with design, development and implementation Power BI reports
  • Strong and working experience in the design, development and implementation of Azure SQL PaaS Data Warehouse.
  • Strong Experience in T-SQL - creating triggers, functions, stored procedures, indexes and views.
  • Strong Experience in Microsoft SQL Server Integration (SSIS)
  • Lead Business Intelligence and Data and Visual Analytics workshops and presentations.
  • Working with large data sets, defining data sources, working closely with the database to deliver insights and reports to stake holders.
  • The development of an appropriate ETL data model which can be handed over to the business for ongoing support and maintenance.

  • Tertiary qualification in either Actuary/Finance/IT/Maths or Statistics
