Our Insights and Loyalty experts design, launch and operate new client programs, re-launch, refresh and operate existing client programs and bring our digital, mobile and analytical expertise to bear on behalf of clients. As we continue on our journey to realise our vision to be the recognised global leader in loyalty management, we are actively building out our capability to offer increased services across the coalition loyalty service stream.

Within the Australia office, we manage and deliver full-suite Loyalty services across key clients in various industries including Airlines, Telecommunications and Financial Services. Globally, we also work with clients in the Retail, FMCG and Travel Hospitality sectors.

What is the focus of this role?

  • The Senior Program Delivery Manager is responsible and accountable for the seamless, end-to-end execution of technical changes to the loyalty program of a key client within the Aimia portfolio.
  • It is the Senior Program Delivery Manager’s responsibility to ensure that Aimia and its systems adhere to best-practice processes’ and any client-led security, compliance and risk management procedures and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact between the client and internal IT teams to develop and execute technical briefs or change requests.
  • Nurture and develop relationships with key client stakeholders to help them solve business needs and objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Aimia’s loyalty systems and infrastructure and utilise that knowledge to manage and assess potential long-term impact of any changes.
  • Best practice program delivery management, leading the Aimia and client project teams to deliver flawlessly.
  • Work closely with both the clients’ and Aimia’s IT and Security Teams to mitigate any risk or negative customer impact.
  • Ownership and accountability of the end-to-end program delivery of all projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and within scope.
  • Creation and management of project cost estimates, including securing approvals.
  • Work closely with the client and internal stakeholders to assess, document, cost and execute all changes or upgrades to the system.
  • Manage IT and technical changes to Aimia’s loyalty systems from concept design, estimation, code development, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing to implementation and post implementation review.
  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring that they add value with every interaction with our client, this includes structured performance management, career development opportunities and motivation to play to strengths.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders across all areas of the business, which may include development of briefs for Analytics, Rewards, IT Contact Centre and Communications Campaigns.
  • Monitor client budgets to ensure effective financial management of all aspects of program delivery.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in program management with acute technical knowledge.
  • Comprehensive understanding of PCI Compliance regulations and risk management best practice.
  • Solid knowledge of IT infrastructures and database designs.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Strong and confident presentation skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Nimble yet process driven, with the skills to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional problem solving, documentation and project management skills
  • Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team of direct reports.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • 12 month FTC with potential to go permanent
