We are currently experiencing rapid growth (particularly in the NFP sector) and have an exceptional opportunity on offer for a Head of Consulting - Commercial/NFP in Sydney or Melbourne.

In this dynamic role, you will be in a unique position where you can make a difference, helping NFP organisations protect staff and stakeholders.

As our Head of Consulting - Commercial/NFP, your primary function will be to act as the lead on various client projects. In particular you will:

  • Provide content and consulting expertise with respect to our key practice areas;
  • Utilise a deep working knowledge of the NFP sector;
  • Facilitate the development of risk and control frameworks both at board and executive levels as well as at functional levels;
  • Demonstrate change management expertise with the ability to quickly assess a client’s GRC maturity levels and work with clients over time to enable their governance capabilities;
  • Project manage new client implementations;
  • Work collaboratively in client centric teams to deliver exceptional implementation outcomes;
  • Manage quality control with respect to all client implementation and consulting projects;
  • Conduct board and executive briefings as well as industry presentations;

As part of this appealing position you will play a significant part in the new and existing client engagement process, including facilitating group training workshops and webinars and leveraging existing networks and contacts gained through industry.

To be considered for the role you will need the following expertise:

  • A tertiary qualification preferably in business or law;
  • At least 10 years' experience in management consulting or GRC services;
  • Experience in the NFP sector will be well regarded;
  • You will have successfully conducted consulting assignments across a range of industry sectors.
  • Comfortable using a variety of technology solutions,
  • Excellent working knowledge of key governance standards (in particular, risk, compliance and complaints handling);
  • Proven experience in dealing with CEO's, executive managers and directors;
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent project management and ownership skills.

  • Must have initiative, take ownership of tasks and enjoy client contact and coaching;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 
  • High level of organisational skills, attention to detail and perseverance;
  • A person who is challenged by the constantly changing regulatory environment and adapts quickly to this environment.
