High profile Educational Institution based just outside of the CBD is looking for an experienced Change Manager for an initial 6 month project, with a strong chance for extension.
The role:
The Organisational Change Manager is accountable for the design and delivery of Change Management solutions as an integral part of project delivery for the business. They will be accountable for identifying the appropriate change management approach within the project and business context. They will be responsible for managing stakeholder expectations and work with the Project Manager and Project owner to engage stakeholders.
Key accountabilities:
- Think broadly about change impacts to business within the context of the projects
- Identify barriers to the business initative and develop change strategies, plans, communications and schedules to overcome these barriers
- Ensure sustainable change occurs by understanding the requirements of the business and ensuring key areas are operationally ready
- Develop comprehensive ways of leading the change management effort through all stages of the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with project managers and other key leads and seek input and feedback on the effectiveness of the change management plan
- Assist in identifying suitable change agents and lead, educate, mentor and coach these change agents on change management throughout the chnage program
- Act as a mentor to peers and Change Analysts to improve overall organisaitonal Change Management capability.
The right candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in change management within a project environment
- Cyber Security project experience would be highly beneficial but not essential
- Exposure to working in large, complex environments
- Experience in interacting with senior management
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and facilitation skills
- Solid experience in facilitating best practice methodologies to the delivery teams
- Influencing skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Fantastic relationship management skills and a high level of experience dealing with various stakeholders
