We are looking for an Optimisation Implementation Manager to join our Linehaul team based near the Perth Airport. Now is a great time to join the Toll Group.

This position will play a key role in delivering group strategy to the Linehaul division and the Toll Group. This role will see you working autonomously but in conjunction with operations, to develop and implement changes to existing processes, systems and ways of working required to implement the Network Optimisation findings.

This position will be instrumental in managing the change process at a site level in each state, with central support and guidance from the Linehaul Optimisation Change Manager. Key to the success of this role will be establishing buy-in from the State Leadership team to ensure all relevant stakeholders understand and actively support the changes and implications to roles, track implementation progress and provide an update on benefits within the state.

You will be responsible for:

• Autonomously managing and delivering a program of work to assist with the transition to an optimised Linehaul function, in alignment with Toll’s project management principles
• Creating and managing the delivery of local project plans in support of the overall program and optimisation projects
• Supporting the development of an optimised static schedule and customisation required for the State / Region implementation
• Drive stakeholder engagement and buy-in from Group Operation Services leadership & state leadership
• Lead the tracking, monitoring and control of variation to the static schedule & report back to the Project Manager and Change Manager
• Track and report on project progress and manage risk
• Working closely with the Linehaul Optimisation Manager to implement optimisation projects and initiatives in line with the Linehaul strategy
• Identifying opportunities for improvement in relation to the Linehaul network either within Linehaul process or within business units that will impact Linehaul

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Preferred experience in Logistics/ Transport Management
• Experience working on a transformation program involving a high degree of people movements
• Demonstrated ability to work to a program plan with tight timelines and dependencies
• Preferred experience in applying Supply Chain Principles
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Program/Project Management or Change Management roles within an operational environment
• Project management and change management principles
• Understanding of Linehaul compliance & regulatory requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline
• Effective negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and interpretation skills
• Problem solving and lateral thinking
• Ability to work autonomously
