This is a transformation program which is seeking to consolidate two main Learning Management Systems – Blackboard and Canvas with Canvas the one stop choice LMS. This transformation impacts all staff, and involves substantial changes to current processes, as well the re-design of learning units.  The move to Canvas is a key opportunity to refresh the designs of key business functions and learning units.

 Change Manager: 

  • Transformation experience
  • Build a Change Management Strategy
  • Assessing business readiness for change and creating action plan to ensure stakeholder engagement
  • Developing global Communication Strategy and implementing plans
  • Leading and facilitating productive discussions/workshops with staff and stakeholders (ensuring compliant documentation/outputs as required)
  • Ensuring Stakeholders are supported in achieving the objectives and are adopting the change
  • Delivering recommendations for training / education needs
  • Assisting in the development of educational/ training materials to support user adoption
  • Managing business challenges, objectives and interdependent activity

Skills and experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Previous experience in Change Management and Communications within a complex organisational environment/ transformation.
  • Sound understanding of Change Management and Communication methodologies and tools.
  • Eloquent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
  • Experience in the development and delivery of engagement strategies, communications and change management plans
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and schedules simultaneously
  • Effective management of risks and issues
  • Experience in design, delivery and evaluation of training/education /learning solutions
  • Business acumen 
  • Problem-solving and root cause identification skills
  • Outcome focused.
  • Experience implementing LMS/ consolidation of LMSs’
