The role
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO), the WFM Leader is responsible for ensuring projects are appropriately resourced to support project delivery at an enterprise level. This includes management of workforce capability and optimization of resource supply and demand across a complex & challenging change agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of the operational workforce plan to ensure project resourcing needs are clearly understood and optimised for delivery efficiencies (including contingent workers)
- Liaising with external vendors for Statement of Work (SOW) documents and coordinating execution for governance and compliance
- Submission and ongoing management of Purchase Orders, ensuring each requisition aligns to valid SOW
- Managing Vendor time card validation and invoices within acceptable timeframes, including liaising with external vendors on invoicing or payment queries
- Providing regular communication on contingent worker renewals reminders to Program Manager to comply with resourcing governance standards
- Managing project time-sheeting to ensure compliance across the delivery portfolio
- Manage resource on-boarding and off-boarding activities
Skills and experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a workforce planning role
- Demonstrated Project Management understanding, including Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile, Awareness of industry trends and best practice
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with urgency, ownership and accountability
- Planning & organising skills. Ability to manage multiple competing issues concurrently, with tight time frames
- Workday experience highly regarded
- Working knowledge of different change methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile)
- Demonstrated external/innovative thinking.
- Collaborative working style - ability to work with a diverse stakeholder group
