The Indian Ocean Territories Regional Development Organisation, chaired by the Administrator of Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, is an incorporated association that supports local economic development, works with potential investors and delivers the Regional Development Australia program.
About the role

A new full-time two year contract position is now available.

The Regional Investment Officer will attract internal and external investment to the Indian Ocean Territories leading to economic growth and diversification, new business opportunities and increased employment.

The position will facilitate business networking and grant applications to promote investment.

Skills and experience
- We are looking for an experienced candidate with relevant tertiary qualifications.
- A successful track record in regional economic development and investment promotion is what we are looking for.
- The position requires excellent communication, partnership-building, resource mobilization and capacity-building skills.
- Proficiency in research, analysis and advice is also essential as well as an ability to formulate, implement and report on strategies, plans and workplans.
