The role
Coles Insurance distributes a portfolio of retail insurance products including car, home, landlord and travel products to millions of Australians and forms part of the broader Coles Financial Services business.
The Product and Customer Lead will support the product teams across Coles Insurance and report to the Senior Business Manager.
The role will have a diverse set of responsibilities, with each week different to the next. The stakeholders and activities include marketing, sales, service, pricing, product, customer communications, technology solutions, external partner relations and offers a high potential candidate the opportunity to make a contribution to the performance of business, while developing valuable business skills.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- previous experience in financial services products is advantageous
- a track record of successful implementation of product or portfolio management initiatives
- the ability to demonstrate a customer-centric approach to product and service delivery
- a team first attitude with an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external organizations to build and leverage relationships
- a high attention to detail
- a high level of initiative and self-motivation
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- support the Insurance Product team in the overall product strategy and operational management of car, home, landlord and travel products
- support the launch of new products, customer offers, technology solutions and process improvements
- contribute towards delivery of product business plans to drive growth and profitability objectives
- manage customer feedback process including complaints, net promoter score reporting and process improvement
- work with team to implement product and portfolio initiatives
- conduct regular competitor and market reviews
- manage ongoing relationships across internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation of key initiatives
- coordinate various projects and liaise with internal and external stakeholders including the underwriters
