Our Watch is a national, independent not for profit organisation established in 2013 to drive nationwide change in the culture, behaviours and attitudes that lead to violence against women and their children. Our vision is an Australia where women and their children live free from all forms of violence. Our mandate is to stop violence before it happens, and our purpose is to provide national leadership to prevent all forms of violence against women and their children. Our work is based on sound research and strong and diverse partnerships.
About the role:
An exciting opportunity now exists to be a part of the Our Watch Evaluation team. This team is responsible for measuring the impacts of our various primary prevention projects and campaigns. We are looking for a Senior Evaluation Advisor to work across a number of collaborative projects including work with the media and sporting organisations.
Our Watch is open to job share and flexible working arrangements. We would also support a secondment arrangement and the opportunity for knowledge and skills exchange this provides with other organisations.
About you:
We are looking for someone with:
- An in-depth understanding of both qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, and experience in building the evaluation capacity of others
- A commitment to the primary prevention of violence against women and advancing gender equality
- Highly developed program management, facilitation and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative cross-organisation team.
- Experience in evaluation capacity building will be highly valuable.
