An Opportunity has become available in Essential Energies ePMO office for an experienced Benefits lead. This role will be based in Port Macquarie, NSW
The Role
As the Benefits lead you will be accountable for taking the lead in establishing benefits practices that facilitate the identification, structuring, analysis, profiling and quantification of benefits for realisation, in support of strategic objectives. You will also be responsible for facilitating the realisation planning, monitoring, tracking, and management of benefits through to realisation, including the reporting and/or health of planned program benefits.
The role is further responsible for the provision of comprehensive benefits practice support and guidance regarding effective planning, forecasting and benefits trajectory tracking in alignment with Essential Energy’s strategic performance goals.
About you
Working experience within a dynamic corporate environment is the key to this role. You will have demonstrated experience in benefits realisation within a management role. You will also have proven workshop facilitation, problem framing along with senior stakeholder management, along with investment evaluation, financial modelling and benefits trajectory management.
Skills required
- Strategic and operational delivery skills directed at meeting or exceeding customer expectations and optimising business outcomes
- Strong analytical skills, able to work both at “big picture” and “deep dive” level
- Well-developed and proven analytical and problem-solving skills to frame benefits opportunities, and providing structured approaches to shape benefits-led initiative investment development
- Bravery to challenge and promote new benefits business thinking that enables the business leadership to see holistically “beyond the numbers”
- Capacity to complete benefits and reporting, spreadsheet/pivot table generation and interpretation, with experience in generation of journals and accruals
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or other professional/numerical discipline
- Or Demonstrated benefits capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
- Benefits Management Certification - desirable
- Portfolio, Program and Project Management Certification - desirable
