About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the business. You will provide analytical, systems and reporting support to help secure client work and aid in the successful delivery of projects and contracts. You will also be engaged in internal systems and process development to continuously improve the quality and timely delivery of Prological’s work.
Activity Profile
The primary activities of this position are to:
- collate, interpret, cleanse and analyse client/supplier data
- work with clients and consultants to understand their data and reporting requirements
- convert data into information by way of summaries, dashboards and visualisations using business intelligence (BI) tools
- construct scenario-based ‘what if’ modelling
- deliver presentations to stakeholders across the organisation
- manage databases (SQL, Tableau, Accelo etc.)
- take the lead on exploring and testing the latest analytics toolsets and technologies
- develop and enhance internal systems, processes and templates to standardise and improve the consistency of our reports, presentations & proposals
- general project support where required
- interstate and New Zealand travel where required

Skills and experience
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area – preferably supply chain
- A passion for working with data and databases
- Experienced in data analysis and modelling
- Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills
- Experienced with business intelligence tools (Tableau experience highly regarded)
- Understanding of supply chain principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven willingness to learn and improve
- Strong critical thinking ability
- The ability to work individually as well as within a team environment
