About the role

The Communications & Change Management Specialist will lead the delivery of change communications for a number of significant enterprise-wide projects across VicTrack.

As the communications change management lead, you will develop and refine the strategic approach to effectively keep the workforce informed and manage the change as VicTrack seeks to design and implement key enterprise-wide innovations. You will be responsible for developing strategy, and undertaking its implementation across all communications channels, including creating innovative ways to inform and facilitate engagement opportunity for all employees that will add value to decision-making and inform the best outcome for the business, in line with enterprise-wide projects.

You will be required to work closely with project managers to ensure change communications is understood and embedded into project schedules. Working as part of the Communications & Engagement team, you will have support for digital communications and graphic design, and align your communications activities with the Internal Communications & Change Specialist.

Skills and experience

  • Lead the communication change management approach for a number of enterprise-wide projects across VicTrack.
  • Create, refine and implement change management strategies for a number of enterprise-wide projects in liaison with key stakeholders, to ensure the organisation is engaged early, well informed and supported through a period of significant change.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with project managers, steering committee and working group members, and other key stakeholders to deliver fit for purpose and inspired advice on internal communications, change and engagement initiatives.
  • Proactively identify employee issues in consultation with People & Culture and other internal stakeholders to develop and implementation mechanisms to minimise impact to project delivery and organisational reputation.
  • Undertake all necessary research to ensure communications and change management initiatives are targeted and VicTrack employees are well informed about the phases of the projects.
  • Develop and implement communications and engagement activities through a range of channels/methods including digital.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives such as workshops, focus groups or interviews in support of enterprise-wide projects.
  • Any other work requirements as directed by your manager.
