Do work that matters
The Senior Policy & Project Officer will contribute to the work of the Skills Policy, Enablers and Analytics Branch within the NSW Department of Industry. It oversees the skills policy development, skills market design, innovation, and productivity. The branch also delivers skills development programs for employment, and programs to sustain conditions for economic development.
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in policy development, implementation, and review, as well as project/program delivery
- Your skill set will need to encompass well-developed abilities in research, data analysis, and writing.
- Advanced communication and relationship management skills, including the ability to advise and assist staff from junior to senior executive level, and collaborate with stakeholders outside the Department.
- Knowledge of the machinery of Government, including Cabinet and legislative processes, and the ability to manage sensitive information will be highly regarded.
