WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced economist with strong technical, writing and interpersonal skills to join our Economics and Policy Group, and work with the broader RMCG team across our work areas.

§  Applied technical economic analysis, particularly applied cost-benefit analysis and economic impact assessment, with strong spreadsheet modelling skills.  You will be expected to lead projects and contribute technical inputs to broader projects with other RMCG staff or as a sub-consultant to other firms.

§  Business development skills, including networking, marketing and proposal-writing.  We expect you to continue to build our profile with presentations and other marketing activities.

§  Analytical skills applied to your area(s) of specialisation, but with the flexibility to apply these skills to the broader subject matter areas in which RMCG operates.

§  Report-writing, particularly the ability to communicate technical economics concepts and outputs to a non-technical audience.  You will be expected to act as primary author for reports, and contribute sections to broader projects.

§  Contribute to our firm’s culture.  At RMCG, we believe in the public good, and that our work contributes to making the world a better place.  We are respectful of our clients and our colleagues.
